Trump Claims Iran’s Economy in Decline Amid Ongoing Talks

Donald Trump has stated that Iran’s economy is deteriorating and that Iranians are unable to generate revenue from oil.
Speaking to reporters at the Oval Office in the White House in Washington, President Trump claimed that Iran’s military has been “completely destroyed” and that 82 percent of its drone production facilities are no longer operational.
He further said that Iran is keen to reach an agreement, noting that only a few individuals are aware of the true current status of the negotiations. He reiterated that Iran’s economy is in decline and that the country is unable to benefit from its oil resources.
Trump also emphasized that Iran cannot be allowed to develop nuclear weapons. He alleged that 42,000 unarmed civilians were killed during protests, adding that Iran claims the number is even higher.
He concluded by stating that progress has been made in ongoing negotiations with Iran.
