Special Traffic Plan in Kochchikade Ahead of Commemorative Service

Police have announced that a special traffic management plan will be implemented in the Kochchikade area tomorrow (21) in view of a special religious service at St. Anthony’s Shrine.
The service has been organized to mark the 7th anniversary of the Easter Sunday Attacks in Sri Lanka. In anticipation of a large number of devotees attending the event, authorities have decided to introduce temporary traffic restrictions to ensure public safety and smooth movement.
According to police, vehicular access on roads surrounding the church will be intermittently restricted from 7:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the service. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and expect delays in the vicinity during this period.
Police have also requested the public to cooperate with traffic officers and adhere to the temporary arrangements.
