Minister Chandrasekar’s team visits and inquires about health of Sivajilingam

A delegation led by Fisheries Minister Ramanalingam Chandrasekar visited the residence of former Member of Parliament and Velvettithurai Municipal Council special member M.K. Sivajilingam to inquire about his health condition.

Sivajilingam, who is currently suffering from deteriorating health due to both kidneys being affected, was visited at his home by the minister’s delegation, which included National People’s Power MPs K. Inthumaran and V. Rajeevan. They met him in person and extended their support and well wishes.

During the visit, Sivajilingam stated that his medical treatment would cost around 8 million rupees.

He also mentioned that he has been receiving financial assistance from the public both in Sri Lanka and abroad.
