ICC Representatives Meet President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Sri Lanka

Representatives of the International Cricket Council, who are currently visiting Sri Lanka, met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake today (17) for discussions regarding the future of Sri Lankan cricket administration.
The meeting was attended by ICC Deputy Chairman Imran Khwaja and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Devajit Saikia.
Recently, Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage appointed a nine-member Sri Lanka Cricket Reform Committee headed by Eran Wickramaratne to oversee administrative responsibilities related to Sri Lanka Cricket.
The committee was appointed following the resignation of the previous Sri Lanka Cricket administration, including former president Shammi Silva.
During their visit, the ICC representatives also held discussions with members of the interim Sri Lanka Cricket committee regarding future administrative activities and reforms related to the country’s cricket governance.
