US Warns of Renewed Strikes on Iran if Talks Fail

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that the United States could resume airstrikes on Iran if ongoing negotiations fail to reach an agreement, signaling a possible escalation of tensions.

In an interview with a foreign media outlet, Trump stated that the U.S. is not interested in extending the current two-week ceasefire period without progress in talks with Iran.

He further noted that the ceasefire period has been used by the U.S. military to strengthen its operational readiness. According to him, sufficient weapons and logistical resources are now in place, and forces are fully prepared for potential action.

“We have used this pause to reinforce our capabilities. The military is fully ready, and if I give the order, they are prepared to resume operations immediately,” Trump said.

The statement comes amid heightened uncertainty over diplomatic efforts between the United States and Iran.
