Kotmale – Gampola Main Road Temporarily Closed

Police have announced that the B431 main road between Kotmale and Gampola has been temporarily closed from today (14) due to the heavy rainfall affecting the country.

Authorities stated that there is a risk of another landslide occurring in the Paragammana area, where a previous landslide had already taken place along the road.

As a result, police have advised motorists to use alternative routes until further notice. 🚧
