Donald Trump Meets Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing

U.S. President Donald Trump, who is on a three-day official visit to China, met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
In previous visits by leaders of friendly nations, including Russia, Chinese ministers had usually welcomed visiting heads of state. However, when Trump arrived in Beijing yesterday, he was personally welcomed at the airport by Chinese Vice President Han Zheng.
Later today, Trump received a special ceremonial welcome upon arriving at the presidential palace in Beijing.
Following the welcome ceremony, high-level bilateral talks were held between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping.
The discussions reportedly focused on several key issues, including trade agreements between the two countries and the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
Trump was accompanied on the visit by his son Eric Trump, daughter-in-law Lara Trump, and Elon Musk.
