Supreme Court Dismisses Petition Filed by Rauff Hakeem and Nizam Kariapper

The Supreme Court today (04) announced that it has dismissed, without hearing, a petition filed by Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) leader Rauff Hakeem and party General Secretary Nizam Kariapper.
The petition had requested a court order directing the Election Commission to inform Parliament that both individuals are members of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress.
After reviewing the submission, the Supreme Court decided not to proceed with a hearing and dismissed the petition accordingly.
