Frontline Socialist Party Issues Statement Condemning Alleged U.S. Actions Against Cuba

The Frontline Socialist Party has stated that the United States imperial administration is preparing to implement the same anti-democratic methods used in the abduction of Venezuela’s President, this time targeting Cuba, through what it describes as baseless allegations against former Cuban President Raúl Castro.

The statement, issued by the party’s Central Executive Committee on Sunday (24), strongly condemns what it describes as political accusations, legal coercion, and propaganda campaigns being continuously carried out by U.S. imperialism as tools to exert pressure on sovereign states, particularly against the Republic of Cuba.

It further states that actions targeting Cuba’s revolutionary leadership and state institutions should be understood within the broader historical context of long-standing U.S. hostility, economic sanctions, and systematic attempts to destabilize the country. According to the statement, such actions form part of a continuous strategy aimed at punishing any nation that pursues an independent development path outside the global capitalist order led by the United States.

The party rejects what it describes as unilateral historical narratives and politically motivated accusations used to justify interventionist policies. It argues that such practices violate fundamental principles of international law, including sovereign equality of states, non-interference in internal affairs, and the right of peoples to self-determination.

Despite sustained external pressure and long-standing U.S. economic restrictions, the statement says the Cuban Revolution continues to stand as a symbol of resistance against imperial dominance and neoliberal exploitation. It further claims that attempts to delegitimize Cuba’s leadership are efforts to weaken the political resolve of the Cuban people and reverse their historical achievements.

The Frontline Socialist Party expressed full solidarity with the Cuban people in their struggle to defend sovereignty, political system, and the right to independently determine their future without external coercion.

It also calls on progressive, socialist, and democratic movements worldwide to intensify resistance against all forms of economic, political, military, and ideological aggression by U.S. imperialism, and to uphold the principles of peace, equality, and socialist internationalism, stating that opposition to domination remains a central task of revolutionary forces.
