Photographer Arrested at Airport with Kush Worth Rs. 25 Million

A 33-year-old Sri Lankan passenger has been arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport with 2,505 grams of ‘Kush’, valued at approximately Rs. 25 million.
The suspect, identified as a photographer from Colombo, had arrived from Bangkok. He was intercepted while attempting to exit through the Green Channel, following suspicion raised by officers of the Sri Lanka Customs Narcotics Control Unit.
During a detailed inspection, authorities discovered the drugs carefully concealed inside dried fruit packets. The fruits had been removed and replaced with the narcotic substance using a sophisticated method.
