‘SkillUp’ YouTube Platform Launched to Enhance Public Service Excellence
The Ministry of Public Administration has officially launched the “SkillUp” YouTube platform, aimed at improving the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of government employees.
The launch event took place yesterday at the Nilameethura Auditorium in Narahenpita, alongside the ministry’s monthly progress review meeting. The programme was held under the patronage of Minister Chandana Abeyratne.
Introduced as a key digital initiative for modern public service, the platform is being implemented by the Ministry’s Human Resource Development Division. It focuses on updating professional knowledge, developing skills suited to the modern world, and efficiently meeting training needs through technology.
During the meeting, discussions were also held on the progress of institutions under the ministry and their future plans. The Minister emphasized the importance of delivering public services in a more transparent and efficient manner.
