Minister of Women and Child Affairs Sarojha Savithri Paulraj has announced that all preschools in the country must be registered before July 1.
The Minister emphasized that it will be mandatory to register any preschool prior to commencing operations in the future, highlighting the government’s move to regulate and standardize early childhood education.
She made these remarks while addressing an awareness program held at the Matara District Secretariat, which focused on the proper implementation of preschool education in line with the ministry’s approved curriculum.
The program aimed to educate relevant stakeholders on maintaining quality standards and ensuring that preschool institutions operate under a structured and officially recognized framework.
