Foreign National Arrested at Katunayake Airport with ‘Kush’ Drugs

A foreign national has been arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport for possessing more than one kilogram of ‘Kush’ narcotics.

According to police, the suspect was apprehended during a joint inspection carried out by airport Customs officers and the Police Narcotics Bureau.

The arrested individual has been identified as a 35-year-old Indian national.

Further investigations into the incident are currently being conducted by the airport Police Narcotics Division.
