Nepalese Ambassador Meets Prime Minister Ahead of Departure

The outgoing Ambassador of Nepal to Sri Lanka, Dr. Purna Bahadur Nepali, paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya on April 30 at Temple Trees.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister commended the Ambassador for his contributions in strengthening bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Nepal during his tenure. She also expressed appreciation for his efforts in further enhancing the long-standing friendship between the two countries.
Prime Minister Amarasuriya reaffirmed Sri Lanka’s commitment to deepening ties with Nepal and promoting cooperation for mutual development and progress.
The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister’s Secretary Pradeep Saputhanthri, Additional Secretary Sagarika Bogahawatta, and a group of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism.
