Special Discussion Held on Kala Oya and Maa Oya Water Supply Projects

A special discussion regarding issues related to the Kala Oya and Maa Oya water supply projects was held yesterday (25) under the leadership of Chandana Abeyratne, Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government.

The discussion focused on resolving drinking water shortages affecting several Divisional Secretariat divisions within the district.

During the meeting, special attention was given to the severe drinking water scarcity faced by residents in the affected areas. Discussions were also held on removing obstacles delaying the implementation of the relevant water supply projects in order to accelerate their progress.
