President Anura Kumara Dissanayake Visits “Ranaviru Sevana” Welfare Centre
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake visited the “Ranaviru Sevana” welfare centre in Ragama today (19) and inquired about the wellbeing of members of the security forces receiving treatment at the facility.
During the visit, the President held friendly discussions with the security personnel and appreciated the sacrifices they had made for the unity of the country.
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake also met with the doctors and staff serving at the “Ranaviru Sevana” centre and looked into additional medical and welfare facilities that could be provided for the personnel undergoing treatment.
Minister of Science and Technology Krishantha Abeysena, Deputy Minister of Labour Mahinda Jayasinghe, Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal (Retired) Sampath Thuyacontha, Army Commander Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo, Director of Army Services and Rehabilitation Brigadier R.G.L.K. Weerakoon, and Chairman of the Ranaviru Seva Authority Retired Brigadier Senarath Kohona were among those who attended the event.
