Puttalam Railway Services Return to Normal

The Sri Lanka Railways has announced that train services on the Puttalam route, which were affected due to flooding in the Thillayadi area, have now fully returned to normal operations.

Due to the heavy rainfall experienced over the past few days, railway tracks between Puttalam and Thillayadi were submerged in water.

As a safety measure for passengers, train services to Puttalam had been temporarily suspended, with operations limited only up to Chilaw.
