New Two-Storey Building Complex for Kahawatta Sri Krishna Tamil Maha Vidyalaya
The newly constructed two-storey building complex at Sri Krishna Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Kahawatta, Ratnapura, was handed over to the students recently (12), under the leadership of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Governor Champa Janaki Rajaratne and Deputy Minister of Plantation and Community Infrastructure Sundaralingam Pradeep.
The new building complex was constructed at a cost of Rs. 34.5 million.
A total of 1,308 students are currently studying at the school, while 61 teachers are serving there. Classes are conducted from Grade 1 to Grade 13.
The event was attended by religious leaders, Members of Parliament from the Ratnapura District, political representatives, teachers, students, parents, and a large number of others.
