Veteran Sri Lankan journalist, political analyst and columnist D.B.S. Jeyaraj has passed away, his family officially confirmed.

Widely regarded as one of Sri Lanka’s most respected English-language journalists, Jeyaraj was known for his in-depth political analysis and decades-long contribution to journalism. He extensively wrote on Sri Lankan politics, ethnic issues, geopolitics, Tamil affairs and cinema, earning a strong readership both locally and internationally.
