Prime Minister Attends “Sathaham Abiwandana” Vesak Devotional Songs Program

A Vesak devotional songs program titled “Sathaham Abiwandana,” organized by the Welfare Association of the Vocational Education Division of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, was held on May 27 at the auditorium of the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission in Narahenpita under the patronage of Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.

The event was organized to commemorate the birth, enlightenment, and passing away of Lord Buddha and to foster Buddhist spiritual values among devotees.

During the program, devotional songs were performed by employees of the ministry.

Among those who attended the event were Secretary to the Ministry Nalaga Kaluwewa, Additional Secretary (Administration) Samanthi Mihindukula, and Additional Secretary (Vocational Training) Samanthi Senanayake.
