CEAT Sri Lanka Employees Donate Over Rs. 1.14 Million to “Rebuilding Sri Lanka” Fund

The Inter-Company Employees’ Union of the Kelaniya Branch of CEAT Sri Lanka has donated Rs. 1,148,000, equivalent to a day’s salary of its members, to the “Rebuilding Sri Lanka” Fund. The fund was established to support the restoration of livelihoods and reconstruction efforts in areas affected by Cyclone Ditwah.

The cheque was officially handed over on the morning of the 18th at the Presidential Secretariat. It was presented by the Secretary of the Inter-Company Employees’ Union of the CEAT Kelani Branch, D. G. S. D. Navaratne, to the Chief of Staff to the President, Prabhath Chandrakeerthi.

The Treasurer of the union, Y. P. I. C. Karunathilaka, along with members of the Executive Committee, were also present at the event.
