Donald Trump Rejects Iran Response to U.S. Peace Proposal

Donald Trump has firmly rejected the response given by Iran to the peace proposal put forward by the United States to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

In a post shared on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated:

“I just read the response sent by Iran’s representatives. I do not like it. It is completely unacceptable.”

However, he did not clearly explain the exact reason for rejecting the proposal.

In another earlier post, Trump claimed that Iran had been using delaying tactics and “laughing at America” for the past 47 years, warning that they would no longer be able to continue doing so.

Trump also stated that former President Barack Obama had given Iran a “new lifeline,” but said the situation has now changed.

Reports indicate that Iran’s response, sent to the United States through mediation by Pakistan, included several key conditions.

These reportedly included:

  • An immediate end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon
  • Removal of economic sanctions imposed on Iran
  • Lifting restrictions on Iranian oil sales for the next 30 days
  • Easing naval blockades imposed against Iran

Trump appears to have considered Iran’s overall response unsatisfactory and is expected to continue the naval blockade and economic pressure campaign, which he refers to as the “Wall of Steel.”
