Youth Killed in Road Accident on Siyambalanduwa–Ethimale Road

A 27-year-old youth has died following a road accident on the Siyambalanduwa–Ethimale main road, police said.

The accident occurred near the first milepost when a motorcycle collided with a luxury jeep. Both individuals traveling on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and were admitted to hospital.

One of the victims later died while receiving treatment. The deceased has been identified as a 27-year-old resident of the Fifth Milepost area in Siyambalanduwa.

Further investigations are being carried out by the Sri Lanka Police.
