Fire Breaks Out at Jaffna Teaching Hospital

A fire broke out at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital during the early hours of today (09), causing concern among hospital staff and authorities.
According to reports, the fire erupted in the hospital’s medicine storage facility.
Firefighters from the Jaffna Municipal Council, hospital staff, security personnel, and police officers jointly worked to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire and details regarding damages have not yet been officially released.
