Four-Member Forensic Team Appointed for Post-Mortem of Suspended Treasury Official

A four-member panel of Judicial Medical Officers has been appointed to conduct the post-mortem examination of Ranga Rajapaksha, the Assistant Director of the Department of External Resources of the Ministry of Finance Sri Lanka, who had been suspended over allegations of misusing Treasury funds.
Secretary to the Ministry of Health Sri Lanka, Dr. Anil Jasinghe, stated that steps have been taken to appoint a special team consisting of four forensic medical experts to carry out the examination.
