Jaffna MP Accused in Firearm Confrontation Over Land Dispute

Ramanathan Archchuna, a Member of Parliament representing the Jaffna District, has reportedly been involved in a heated confrontation over a land dispute in the Periyavilan area.
The incident is said to have taken place on Saturday (April 25), when the MP was engaged in clearing a plot of land. During this time, two women reportedly arrived at the location, claiming ownership of part of the property.
According to reports, the situation escalated into a verbal altercation, during which the MP was allegedly seen brandishing a firearm.
