Tourist Arrivals Surpass 800,000 Mark in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has recorded over 800,000 tourist arrivals so far this year, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.

Data shows that a total of 809,595 visitors arrived in the country between January 1 and April 15. Among them, the largest group consists of travelers from India, with 167,095 arrivals recorded.

In addition, a significant number of tourists have visited from countries such as the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, and China.

Meanwhile, between April 1 and April 15 alone, 68,961 tourists entered the country.

However, despite the overall positive figures, data indicates a noticeable decline in daily tourist arrivals during April compared to the previous months.
