Trump Extends Ceasefire with Iran Amid Ongoing Tensions 🌍

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced an extension of the temporary ceasefire with Iran, offering more time for diplomatic efforts to continue.
The conflict between the United States and Iran had lasted for 40 days before a two-week ceasefire was declared on the 7th. However, initial peace talks held in Pakistan failed to reach an agreement.
Following this, U.S. naval forces intensified pressure by surrounding key Iranian ports and the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Reports also indicated that cargo vessels heading toward Iran were intercepted, drawing strong اعتراض from Tehran.
Despite the ceasefire nearing its end today, President Trump has decided to extend it further, granting Iran additional time to present a comprehensive peace proposal. He stated that while direct attacks are being postponed, the naval blockade of Iranian ports will continue.
The decision to extend the ceasefire has brought a degree of relief to the international community. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed appreciation for the move.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi strongly criticized the U.S. actions, describing the naval blockade as an act of aggression and warning that Iran is prepared to respond to any threats.
