Special Traffic Plan for Visit of Maldives President

In view of the official visit of Mohamed Muizzu to Sri Lanka, the police have announced the implementation of a special traffic management plan.
According to the police, this plan will be in effect from May 3 to May 6. The President is scheduled to arrive tomorrow evening at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake and will travel to Colombo via the Katunayake–Colombo Expressway.
During this period, special traffic arrangements will be in place, and certain roads may be subject to restrictions for security and traffic control purposes. The public is kindly advised to use alternative routes to avoid possible inconvenience and delays.
