Deputy Minister’s Vehicle Involved in Accident, No Injuries Reported

A vehicle carrying Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education Madura Seneviratne was involved in an accident last night (22).

The incident occurred while he was traveling from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya via Hatton. The cab he was in reportedly skidded off the road and collided with an electricity pole in the Kitulgala Kalukohuthenna area.

Neither the Deputy Minister nor the driver sustained any injuries in the accident.

However, the vehicle suffered significant damage. Sri Lanka Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
