Parliament Approves Extension of State of Emergency

The resolution to extend the state of public emergency under the Public Security Ordinance was passed in Parliament today (07) with a majority of 139 votes.

A total of 145 votes were cast in favour of the resolution, while 6 votes were cast against it.
