Tension Outside Finance Ministry Secretary’s Residence

TA tense situation was reported outside the residence of Harshana Suriyapperuma, Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, when a group led by Sugeeswara Bandara attempted to stage a protest.

According to reports, local residents strongly opposed the protest, and those who arrived to demonstrate were targeted with eggs and dung thrown by individuals in the area.

The incident led to a chaotic situation, escalating tensions between both sides.

Police officers who rushed to the scene managed to bring the situation under control, restoring order in the area.
