Tamil Nadu Student Congress Warns of Protest if Governor Does Not Invite Vijay to Form Government
The Tamil Nadu Students Congress has warned that it will stage a protest and surround the Governor’s residence if actor-turned-politician Vijay is not invited to form the government.
According to the group, the TVK-led alliance, which has reportedly secured majority support, has not yet been invited by the Governor to form the government. They said this delay has created widespread public doubt and dissatisfaction among the people of Tamil Nadu.
The organization demanded that the Governor respect the democratic mandate and immediately invite the majority-supported alliance to form the government.
They further warned that if this is not done, the Tamil Nadu Students Congress will stage a large-scale democratic protest and gherao the Governor’s residence.
