During the operation, authorities seized approximately <strong>600,000 counterfeit US dollars<\/strong> from the suspects.<\/p>\n<p>In a related development, another woman was arrested in the <strong>Wellampitiya<\/strong> area after police discovered counterfeit US dollars with an estimated value of nearly <strong>Rs. 190 million<\/strong>. The suspect was reportedly staying at a house in the area at the time of her arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Police have launched further investigations to determine the source of the counterfeit currency and whether the two incidents are connected.
