This will be followed by <strong>Questions for Oral Answers<\/strong> from <strong>10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.<\/strong>, and questions under <strong>Standing Order 27(2)<\/strong> from <strong>11.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Wednesday, June 10<\/strong>, time has been specially allocated from <strong>10.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.<\/strong> for questions directed to the Prime Minister, followed by Questions for Oral Answers from <strong>10.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>June 9 (Tuesday)<\/h3>\n<p>From <strong>11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.<\/strong>, Parliament will debate and approve several Orders under:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stamp Duty (Special Provisions) Act<\/li>\n<li>Ports and Airports Development Levy Act<\/li>\n<li>Excise (Special Provisions) Act<\/li>\n<li>Value Added Tax (VAT) Act<\/li>\n<li>Resolution under Standing Order 119<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thereafter, from <strong>2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.<\/strong>, a Resolution under the <strong>Public Security Ordinance<\/strong> will be debated and approved.<\/p>\n<h3>June 10 (Wednesday)<\/h3>\n<p>From <strong>11.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.<\/strong>, Parliament will take up:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Telecommunications Levy (Amendment) Bill<\/li>\n<li>Second Reading of the Finance (Amendment) Bill<\/li>\n<li>Resolution under the Essential Public Services Act<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From <strong>5.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.<\/strong>, an Adjournment Motion moved by the Opposition will be debated.<\/p>\n<h3>June 11 (Thursday)<\/h3>\n<p>From <strong>11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.<\/strong>, Parliament will consider:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Second Reading of the Mediation (Civil and Commercial Disputes) Bill<\/li>\n<li>Order under the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From <strong>1.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.<\/strong>, time has been allocated for an Opposition-led Adjournment Debate on the current situation in the country.<\/p>\n<h3>June 12 (Friday)<\/h3>\n<p>From <strong>11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.<\/strong>, Parliament will debate and approve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regulations under the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Act<\/li>\n<li>Supplementary Estimates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From <strong>2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.<\/strong>, Parliament will continue, for a second day, the Adjournment Debate on the <strong>Central Bank of Sri Lanka\u2019s 2025 Economic Review Report<\/strong>, which commenced on <strong>20 May 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, at the request of <strong>Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Anil Jayantha<\/strong>, approval has been granted to conduct an awareness programme for Members of Parliament on <strong>10 June<\/strong>, with the participation of the <strong>Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka<\/strong> and senior Central Bank officials.
