Chandrasekar in his Vesak message.<\/p>\n<p>He further stated that, on this sacred Vesak Day, the expectation is for all people to move forward on the path of peace, unity, mutual respect, and harmony.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that Sri Lanka, being a multi-ethnic and multi-religious country, must foster national progress and lasting peace through mutual respect for each other\u2019s religious beliefs and by living with a spirit of brotherhood.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister also noted that the teachings of the Buddha should cultivate love, patience, and compassion within human minds.
