Of them, 33 prisoners are scheduled to be released today.<\/p>\n<p>This was announced by Prison Department Media Spokesman and Commissioner of Prisons A.C. Gajanayake.<\/p>\n<p>The presidential pardon has been granted under the powers vested in the President by Article 34 of the Constitution.
