The Starship launched from southern Texas carrying 20 mock Starlink satellites, which were released midway through the hour-long mission that traveled halfway around the world.<\/p>\n
However, the spacecraft experienced engine trouble before reaching its planned destination in the Indian Ocean and burst into flames upon impact.<\/p>\n
According to SpaceX, the fiery ending had been anticipated as part of the mission profile.<\/p>\n
The spacecraft reportedly traveled through space successfully, but one engine malfunction prevented it from reaching the exact intended orbit.<\/p>\n

After the Super Heavy booster separated successfully from the upper stage, the booster failed to complete its planned \u201cboost-back burn\u201d maneuver and fell uncontrollably into the Gulf of Mexico.<\/p>\n
