Funds have been allocated in two phases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A total of Rs. 3.087 billion will be distributed among 617,406 beneficiaries aged over 70.<\/li>\n<li>An additional Rs. 362.6 million will be provided to 72,525 beneficiaries within the same age group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eligible beneficiaries are advised to check their bank accounts to receive the respective payments, the Board stated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Welfare Benefits Board has announced that April payments under the Aswesuma welfare scheme will be credited to beneficiaries\u2019 bank accounts starting today (22).
