The theme focused on developing a joint framework for cancer prevention and management based on the recommendations of the <strong>Lancet Oncology Commonwealth report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event was organized by the <strong>Commonwealth Secretariat<\/strong>, and was chaired by former Health Minister of Guyana <strong>H.E. Leslie Ramsammy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sri Lanka\u2019s Minister of Health, who also serves as the Chair of the South and South-East Asia Regional Committee of the World Health Organization, <strong>Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa<\/strong>, participated in and represented Sri Lanka at the conference.<\/p>\n<p>He was accompanied by senior officials from Sri Lanka\u2019s health sector, including the Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, <strong>Dr. Anil Jasinghe<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. S.
