C. Joseph Vijay, leader of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after his party emerged as the single largest party in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election with the support of several smaller parties.<\/p>\n
Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Vijay during a grand swearing-in ceremony held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.<\/p>\n
Following Vijay\u2019s swearing-in ceremony, nine ministers included in the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam cabinet also took their oaths of office.<\/p>\n
Rahul Gandhi attended the event as a special guest and shared the stage with Vijay.<\/p>\n
Several political leaders, newly elected legislators, and film personalities also participated in the ceremony, including T. K. Rangarajan, Pe. Shanmugam, Veerapandian, Nainar Nagendran, and Tamilisai Soundararajan.<\/p>\n
